To remove the lid, use the thumb tab to push the lid up off the cup.

To clean, simply wash in warm soapy water and rinse well.

To separate, twist the lid to the open position then simply place upside down on a flat surface then using thumbs (as shown) squeeze tabs together and lift apart.

If the tabs are too stiff to squeeze, then immerse the lid in warm water for 30 seconds. This will soften the tabs and aid removal.

On re-assembly, adding a small amount of the food safe silicone gel (included with the cup) to the gasket will improve function and watertightness of the lid. Make sure to fit the gasket the correct way around.

DO exercise caution with hot liquids

DO Keep Aerocup® upright to prevent leakage

DO wash in warm soapy water and rinse well (separation not required, unless a deep clean is required)

DO remember the Spill-Safe Technology is designed to reduce spills, not prevent them.

DON’T close the lid with liquids over 65°C as this can create pressure inside the cup, causing liquid to seep out (Barista standard serving temperature is around 65°)
